from the foundersA laboratory built on a passion for technology and hands-on expertise
Our journey in digital dentistry began in 2013 when a chance meeting brought Kristjan and Martin together. Recognizing that great achievements require collaboration, we decided to join forces and create something unique. Kristjan brought his CAD/CAM expertise to the team, and Martin his 3D printing skills.
In the early years, we focused on simpler solutions. However, our commitment to innovation and excellence drove us to develop increasingly sophisticated products. Over time, our vision expanded, and so did our team. Today, our team has grown to 9 members, and we operate successfully in 12 countries.
This is evident in our motto: a small team, big impact. Our goal is to continue growing and offering customers even better solutions in the future.
Kristjan Lank

My journey as a CAD/CAM technician began somewhat by chance in 2012 in one of the most successful dental laboratories in Estonia at the time, after obtaining a bachelor's degree in mechatronics.
Having developed a passion for technology early on––from cars and motorcycles to digital systems––I quickly adapted to the laboratory's CAD/CAM equipment. By combining what I learned at university with my laboratory work, I developed knowledge about the functionality and aesthetics of teeth.
When I met Martin, we envisioned creating something innovative to advance Estonian dentistry, and that's how the DentaLab dental laboratory was born. Thanks to the R2Gate software, we began planning implants, and today we offer the entire production from implant planning to final prosthetic solutions.
I'm passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies and equipment, which empowers us to offer competitive product development and solutions that set us apart from other laboratories.

My journey to digital dentistry began with a personal experience––a struggle with sleep apnea.
This debilitating condition made me realize the critical importance of quality sleep and overall health. The experience inspired me to find solutions to help others and led to the idea of producing 3D-printed intraoral devices to address snoring and sleep apnea.
My lifelong passion for technology and cybernetics, combined with my family's business in fiber-plastic production, gave me the ideal combination of knowledge and skills to turn this idea into a reality. My studies in materials science provided a valuable knowledge base that is indispensable in our daily work.
As the CEO, my mission is to build and lead a company dedicated to helping people through innovative solutions. I guide the company's long-term strategy, assemble a strong team and ensure that we remain competitive globally. Continuous innovation and putting the well-being of my clients first are the keys to my success.
Outside of work, I find contentment in music, the sea and nature. Passion, dedication to work, and balance are the keys to a fulfilling life and meaningful contribution to humanity.
